RIGA:
Budget flights to Riga are currently offered by three airlines:
From the airport to town you either take the Bus 22 or 22a, or you take a Taxi for the amount of 10 to 15 Euro. From Riga there is a daily train- and bus-service to St. Petersburg.
Please note:
-
often times, offers by these airlines are really cheap only if you book well ahead (months earlier).
-
You have to keep in mind that sometimes additional charges for taxes might apply.
-
Flights can only be booked via Internet.
-
Prices may vary for one or more persons (so maybe book each person separateely, might be cheaper sometimes).
-
* Airbaltic has an agreement with the German federal railway company (Bundesbahn) and offers budget train tickets. That means it may sometimes be less expensive to depart from a distant airport in Germany if you cover the remaining stretch by railway.
