Getting to us from the airports:
St. Petersburg has two airports! Pulkova I (National) and Pulkova II (International). If you are flying in St.Petersburg from Europe you are most likely to arrive at Pulkova II .
Both airports are situated pretty far away from the historical centre of Saint Petersburg and cheaper public conveyance unfortunately still are and often will be desperately overcrowded.
That's why we offer you an inexpensive alternative, which you can book right here.
1. Our Transfer
After you have finally managed to get your luggage back and to pass custom, you will find yourself in the arrival room of the airport. Here you have to look attentively for a nameboard with your first- and/or surname on it and/or the logo of our pension. The nameboard and/or logo will be held by our driver, who will drive you directly to the hotel and if necessary he will also help you with your luggage.
NOTE: If you are late for more than one hour because e. g. you haven't caught your connecting flight, or because of departure delay or because you arrived at PulkovaI instead of PulkovaII, or anything else, then please send a SMS or call us as soon as possible at:
+7 (911) 923 0575 or +7 (911) 929 2793
2. Taxi from the airport
Of course you can try to take a taxi directly at the airport after you have arrived. Depending on your conversation skills, amount of cars and arrived passengers you must calculate between 30-80 Euro for a car.
3. Public transport
Those who would like to choose this very interesting and also cheap way of travel will find all necessary information here.
Airport Express: Outside the airport is the Airport Express bus which brings you to the metro station "Pushkinskaya" in city centre. This bus leaves every 20 minutes and costs 70 Roubles per person. More information you can find at http://www.airportexpress.ru/. From "Pushkinskaja" you take the metro to "Ploshad Vostania" and then it is a 5 minutes walk to the minihotel.
Buses number: 13, 13-k and 13-a run to Moskovskaya underground (Metro) station, tickets cost ca.10 rubles.
Public minibus number 13 runs for ca. 15 rbl to Moskovskaya, from where you can reach the hotel using underground Metro trains. Minibuses are faster, but there are fewer seats there, so it's harder to get one. Whether you use a minibus or a normal bus, in both ways you have to go to the first underground station, which is Moskovskaya. After that you go by Metro. You should buy a ticket (which is actually a token-coin) for underground; currently at the ticket window it costs 7 rbl. After you have entered the Metro, you should go by the 2nd line from your station (Moskovskaya) to the station called Technologichesky Institute. Including Moskovskaya it is 6 stations. There you should change to the red line 1 in direction of Devyatkino. The 3rd station is Ploshad Vostania. It is where you get off and exit to the city. You are now on the Ploshad Vostania. Our little map will help you to find your way to the 5th Sovestkaya street and so to the hotel.
NOTE: For using public transport you can pay only with Rubels!!! Also, we recommend travelling this way if you have small hand luggage only, and if you speak at least a little bit of Russian, or if this is not your first visit to the city!!
