Dear Guests!
Here are contact details of several tour guides which have been working for our guests in the past and were especially recommended:

Julia Windaurova

Nadja und Olga Zamoskowskaja

My name is Olga Zamoskowskaya. I am 25 years old and a certified cultural scientist. Two years ago I completed a tour guide trainig course. I am especially experienced as a tour guide for small groups or individuals in St. Petersburg. I am looking forward to providing my services and knowledge for you.

The agenda can be customized to the guests’ special interests. The following program is a proposal for those who haven’t made their own plans yet:

Walking tour through city centre:
Newski-Prospect, one of the historic boulevards, the cultural and business center of town. The Kazanky Cathedral, a memorial to victory over Napoleon. The Church of the Bleeding Saviour, memorial to Tsar Alexander’s lethal injury. The Marble Palace, erected by Catherine the Great for her protégé Grigori Orlow. The Palace Plaza, main square since 19th century. The Winter Palace, residence of the Tsars and the Cathedral of St. Isaak, one of the world’s most impressive buildings.

Boat Cruise:  St. Petersburg is located on 42 islands in the Neva delta, which is formed by more than 60 rivers and canals. A cruise through the Venice of the North is an unforgettable experience.

Evening program:  Most popular destinations for a full evening schedule are a visit at the opera, the ballet or the philharmonic. By your request we can book tickets in advance. For your physical well-being there are first class restaurants; entertainment and distraction are provided in several renowned night clubs.

Individual Tours:   we offer individual tours through: the Hermitage – one of the world’s largest art collections; through St. Isaak’s Cathedral – Russia’s main cathedral until the revolution in 1917; the Russian Museum – one of the largest collections of Russian art, from icon painting to Avantgarde and modernists; through Peter-and-Paul castle – oldest area of town, and to various other museums of interest as well.

Excursions to the Tsars’ Residences:  Upon request and any time, we can organise a tour to the Tsars’ Palaces which are located in scenic surroundings, for example Peterhof with its palaces, parkways and famous trick fountains, or to Zarskoje Selo with Catherine’s Palace and the recently restored Amber Room, or to the Pavlowsk Residence and park ensemble, an outstanding example for Classicism.

Dear Guests to St. Petersburg, dobro pogalovat! «Dobro pogalovat» stands for a warm welcome. Russians have a great sense of hospitality which you will experience now for yourself when coming here. You have already booked your itinerary and accommodation, have arrived at beautiful St. Petersburg and now need a travel companion on location? I am available, especially on weekends. I can also offer services as an interpreter for business people during their meetings. Even if your time is very scarce I try to show you as much of St. Petersburg as possible. We will perform the cultural program together so all your wishes are fulfilled. Apart from historical facts I will happily report about our daily life since such information is provided nowhere in a tour guide but is nonetheless of great interest.

Short personal information – my name is Ljuba, and I’m 24 years old. I graduated from St. Petersburg’s State Academy of Economics and Engineering. During my studies I also had an opportunity to study two semesters at Reutlingen, Germany, at the College for Technology and Economy. I consider this stay in Germany an important step in my life since it contributed greatly to my personal development. After that, I worked as a project coordinator/interpreter with “the Web Production” in St. Petersburg, and for two seasons as assistant cruise manager on MS Viking Surkov. Currently I work as a tour guide in my beloved town.

Herewith I would like to alert all visitors to “PETER’S WALKING TOURS”. You’ll find more information on the following site: www.peterswalk.com
